At its October 28, 2026 meeting, the Little Miami Schools Board of Education approved the monthly financial reports and a package of contracts. The contracts included Warren County Educational Service Center collaborative coaching, Complete Care Providers student transportation, psychology coverage through Soluya, a student placement at Village Christian School, and an independent educational evaluation through School Psychological Services. The board also approved a five-year ProVision agreement to monitor cameras on district vans and a Tyler Technologies transportation-software upgrade, including tablets, RFID, and parent communication features; no contract amounts were stated. All contract approvals passed unanimously. The treasurer reported anticipated state Student Wellness and Success Funds of just over $203,000 and Disadvantaged Pupil Impact Aid of just under $91,000 for the year, following prior-year amounts of about $237,000 and $81,000, respectively. The board also approved donations, including $18.20 from Homegrown Alliance and $100 anonymously toward unpaid lunch balances, and corrected appropriations in a discontinued fund to zero.
The board approved personnel items, two field trips, two memoranda of understanding with OPSI, and a resolution setting payment in lieu of transportation at $636.75 for the 2026โ27 school year. One MOU establishes a process for selecting an arbitrator, and the wrestling tripโs transportation arrangements may change depending on arbitration. Public comments raised concerns about special-education service costs and student support, district transparency, and transportation operations. A Career Center report said the center would retain its lottery-based admissions system after studying alternatives. No specific procurement-related policy change was adopted.
