10/28/2026 Franklin County WA Board of Commissioners & Workshop

The Franklin County Board of Commissioners’ regular meeting and workshop on October 28, 2026, included unanimous approval of the regular and workshop agendas and consent agenda items 1–8. The workshop focused on proposed updates to county development regulations, including code enforcement, permitting, building standards, subdivisions, zoning, and SEPA procedures. Staff described changes intended to align with state law, clarify review processes, and guide future development; no regulations were adopted at the workshop, and public hearings are planned after the draft environmental impact statement is completed. Four comprehensive-plan amendment proposals were also presented, including a proposed master plan resort and requests related to Pasco’s urban growth area.
