The project will extend new fiber connections to about 85 households, primarily in New Scotland and Bethlehem. Members also approved a $72,323.67 reallocation of unspent American Rescue Plan Act funds to the central warehouse project and a 2026 budget amendment to buy equipment for property maintenance rather than rent it. A three-year renewal of Stewart’s Shops Corp.’s license to use county right-of-way property in Bethlehem was approved, with one abstention. The committee also approved listing county-owned foreclosure properties for public sale and several property conveyances, including 62 First Street and 35 Alexander Street for $3,000 each.
The proposed agreement with Legend Global to manage food and beverage services at MVP Arena was tabled for a month. The proposed purchase of 22 Clinton Avenue using an agreement with the New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services was also tabled. The transcript identifies an agreement concerning development of county road property at 106 South Pearl Street, but does not provide its discussion or disposition. No vote on that item can be confirmed from the transcript.
