9-21-2026 Regular Voting Meeting

The Riverview School District regular voting meeting was held September 21, 2026. The board approved August financial reports and business/finance items, including cafeteria renovation payments to S&T Plumbing ($25,605), Merit Electric Group ($78,480), and K&K Mechanical Services ($78,132.91); asbestos sampling and analysis by Professional Service Industries ($1,285); and several construction change orders, including a $91,495.68 decrease and a $3,486.26 increase for Graham Construction, plus a $1,717.79 S&T Plumbing change order for kitchen equipment installation. The board also approved a $1,500 proposal from Pittsburgh Fire Sprinkler for a water-line flow test related to the junior-senior high school addition safety review, renewed the YMCA after-school-care lease for 2026–27, and approved additional invoices and capital purchases, including an $18,424.38 hot-water-tank installation at Verner Elementary, cafeteria equipment, and a $9,265 office-configuration purchase from Magic Design. Draw Collective invoices were also approved; members questioned mileage and travel charges and requested clarification. The board approved creation of an ad hoc committee for the renovation project, with two to four board members and at least two administrators; members may be appointed later. The board discussed proposing a standing buildings-and-grounds committee through future policy work, but that was not established at this meeting.
