September 2026 Grapeview School District Board of Directors Meeting

At its September 28, 2026 meeting, the Grapeview School District Board reviewed preliminary finances and discussed transportation capacity and a potential school-bus purchase. Enrollment was reported at about 244 students, contributing to crowded bus routes. The district has approximately $135,000 in its transportation vehicle fund and expects about $40,000 more by year-end; a prior new bus cost roughly $200,000. A vendor payment check associated with a capital project was voided after an attempted fraudulent deposit and is to be reissued. The board took no procurement vote; it approved Policy 6106 and Policy 5271 and tabled Policy 4020 for later discussion.
