The Warren County Board of Commissioners met October 27, 2026. In an administrative hearing on Scott Smith/Grace Chapel’s site plan for a farm market, produce stand and agritourism on a 37-acre Turtle Creek Township property, neighbors raised concerns about traffic and the Cook Road access, parking capacity, lighting, noise, and preservation of the wooded buffer. The applicant agreed to four proposed conditions, but commissioners continued the hearing in progress to November 17 at 10:15 a.m. so staff could develop additional conditions and the applicant could clarify the parking plan. No procurement or public spending action was identified in this matter.

The board also considered Evergreen Real Estate Group’s request to deviate from the county thoroughfare plan for its proposed 120-unit senior assisted-living facility in Hamilton Township, described as a privately financed project costing about $30 million and expected to create more than 100 construction jobs and 50 permanent jobs. The township and county engineer supported the deviation while noting that a future road connection may be planned through a different alignment; the board approved a resolution granting the requested deviation. This was a land-use and infrastructure planning decision, not a contract award. A Lebanon High School representative also shared information about a free, community-sponsored Warren County Youth Career Expo planned for December 10; no county funding or purchasing decision was reported.
