Historic Review Board Work Session - October 27, 2026

The Oregon City Historic Review Board held a work session on October 27, 2026, featuring an educational presentation by architectural historian and preservation planner John Rush on the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. The presentation covered preservation, rehabilitation, restoration, and reconstruction, with examples and discussion of how the standards guide review of alterations, materials, additions, and new construction involving historic properties. Board members also discussed how local review applies to Oregon City’s National Register and conservation districts.
