Peoria County Operations Committee

The Peoria County Operations Committee’s budget meeting was held October 27, 2026. The committee approved an agreement with Eagle View for a 2027 countywide leaf-off aerial imagery flight. The proposal was presented at $99,000, with the CIO reporting that Eagle View offered a $92,000 price if the purchase order is issued by year-end; funding would come from IT Services and the GIS fund balance. The imagery is expected to support property assessment, inspections, public works, utilities, and 911 dispatch. The committee approved the resolution. Members discussed that topographic data is not included, and staff noted that state LiDAR data may be available at no cost for a future update.
