It also approved an agreement between the Lafayette Housing Consortium and Habitat for Humanity providing up to $160,000 toward construction of two energy-efficient homes at 5 and 13 Walker Lane, with home-buyer assistance supported by a previously approved 2025 award. The Board approved continuation of the city’s permanent supportive housing program through an Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority contract, covering up to 28 units of rental and utility assistance and $16,296.98 in administrative funding.
Other approved procurement and spending actions included declaring outdated, unused IT hard drives surplus for sale through GovDeals, and Amendment No. 4 to Wessler’s water-system master-planning agreement for $324,300. The amendment funds continued coordination and test drilling and pumping in five potential future water-source areas.
