10/27/2026 Carroll County Economic Development Authority Meeting.

At its October 27, 2026 meeting, the Carroll County, Virginia Economic Development Authority approved the September meeting minutes and unanimously approved the treasurer’s report and payment of the end-of-October invoices. The EDA also approved a proposal from Skyway Outdoor for $4,496.23 to create and install a new billboard on the northbound side of the county-owned sign at Route 77; the vendor requires a 50% deposit, with an estimated four-to-six-week turnaround. The southbound sign will remain unchanged.

After returning from closed session, the board unanimously approved a motion to discontinue the county’s contract with the SGA Group, effective that month; no contract value or further details were stated. No other procurement actions were identified.
