The Centennial School District Committee of the Whole met on October 27, 2026. The board approved library book orders for Davis ($1,142.32), Klinger ($2,672.73), Log College ($2,497.50), and McDonald ($1,729.04), and a McDonald Elementary author visit that carries no district cost. The finance committee reported a projected 2025–26 deficit reduced from $5 million to $500,000, while cautioning that the district’s five-year forecast still shows significant deficits. It plans to resume RFPs and vendor-base consolidation, initially covering facilities, transportation, teaching and learning, and technology; a prior furniture RFP produced 25% savings. The board also adopted a process requiring proposals for internal and external projects to include one-time and recurring costs before presentation, supported by cost cover sheets.

Other approved items included a Dell Technologies PowerEdge server for the district’s Active Directory upgrade, not to exceed $15,087.68, with maintenance included; library and operations approvals passed 8–0. The board approved an agreement for homestead-exclusion notices at no more than $1.128 per parcel, and a tax-assessment settlement reducing a parcel’s assessed value from $52,610 to $45,000; a board member voted against the settlement. Operations approvals also included retroactive fee reductions for Centennial Aquatics ($5,730) and Warminster Symphony ($3,185), plus a no-cost Fox Chase Cancer Center internship partnership. The finance discussion noted $300,000 for planetarium technology equipment and $100,000 for sports equipment.
