The City of Twinsburg Parks & Recreation Commission met on October 22, 2026. Members approved the prior meeting minutes and discussed recent events, upcoming programs, park signage, and a proposed public-feedback survey. The main capital-project discussion concerned the trail connecting Post Road to Liberty Park: it was described as an approximately $2.8 million project supported by a $2 million grant. The trail surface was reported to be uneven, and the product company was expected to redo the surface; additional lighted crosswalks were also discussed. No new contract award, bid approval, or spending motion was recorded. Members also floated, but did not approve, ideas for replacing trail signs and creating a park sponsorship or “adopt a park” program. For an upcoming winter event, staff said they expected to use Game Craze for a temporary synthetic ice rink and skate rentals; no formal procurement decision was reported.
