Hamilton County Commissioners staff meeting, Hamilton County, Ohio, October 27, 2026: The board issued a proclamation recognizing October as Down Syndrome Awareness Month and heard an update from the Clerk of Courts on modernization of the county’s case management technology. The Clerk reported that the CMSNet governance structure was shifted to the Clerk of Courts’ office following a unanimous steering committee vote in March, and described work on security, infrastructure, and planning for a replacement case management system. The office said it closed obsolete purchase orders and informed county budget officials that $2 million in potentially earmarked CMS operating funds would not be needed this year. It also reported that responses to an Integration Hub RFP are under review and that RFPs for managed desktop and network/server IT services are underway; no contract awards or procurement votes were reported.

Other active work includes replacing aging hardware, migrating courthouse employees to Office 365, and implementing enterprise ticketing, asset management, and project management systems. Commissioners asked staff to follow up on a grant proposal raised by Judge Janea Bratton in 2020 and clarify whether funding was received. The meeting concluded with a unanimous motion to adjourn.
