The Northshore School District Board held a working-session meeting on October 26, 2026. The board approved the 2026–2029 Northshore Education Office Professionals Association (NEOPA) collective bargaining agreement; NEOPA members had ratified it with 97.3% support. The board also approved an additional $1,167,822.68 in purchases from Sunburst for one-on-one and two-on-one behavioral technicians and board-certified behavior analysis services, and awarded Filterbuy a contract to supply districtwide HVAC filters after six suppliers responded to the bid. The Filterbuy award amount was not stated. The board approved the district’s 2026–2027 strategic action plans. Seven completed projects valued under $1 million—including security cameras, floor work, and interactive panels—were reported as information items, with no vote required.

Much of public comment focused on possible elementary school closures and enrollment scenarios, particularly concerns about Sunrise and Morelands. Speakers requested detailed enrollment assumptions, closure savings and receiving-school costs, capital and transportation impacts, and student transition plans before decisions are made. No school-closure decision or related procurement action was taken at this meeting. The board also heard association and PTA comments on school funding and student supports; no other specific procurement decisions were identified.
