At the October 26, 2026 Planning Commission meeting, commissioners reviewed a site plan for 2631 Industrial Court, where the applicant proposes to relocate its headquarters and primary operations. The project includes renovating the existing 7,270-square-foot building, constructing an attached new building, expanding parking, and adding outdoor storage, gray-water collection cisterns for brush fire trucks, landscaping, and four burr oak trees. Staff recommended approval subject to eight conditions; the commission approved the recommendation unanimously, and the application is scheduled to go to City Council on November 2. No contract awards, purchasing decisions, or other procurement activity were identified.

Staff also previewed a Dakota County Community Development Agency proposal for a 40-unit housing development at the former KDWA tower site, expected before the commission on November 9. Commissioners discussed allowing more time to review the forthcoming zoning ordinance materials, and staff agreed to work additional review time into the schedule.
