The City of Mt. Juliet Board of Commissioners met on October 26, 2026. The consent agenda passed, including a contract with Tim Liber Roofing for the Community Center roof replacement, an agreement with Solutions LLC for information technology services, an appropriation for an impact fee study, Fire Department funding, and acceptance of donated right-of-way for the Spring Valley Drive extension. No contract amounts were stated. The board later reconsidered and approved the roofing item with an updated addendum. An ordinance amending Fire/EMS transportation-service billing rates and another ordinance identified as item 10E passed first reading; item 10C was removed from the agenda because the wrong ordinance had been published.

The main discussion concerned the Kensington Ridge development and neighborhood street connections. Commissioners rejected a motion to substitute Option B, then approved the presented plan with amendments, including at least nine sets of off-site speed cushions and specified fencing provisions. The board also amended conditions for a separate development near Central Pike and Pleasant Grove Road: it approved an all-way stop with an overhead westbound warning beacon and rumble strips, and struck a requirement for a shared-use path. Staff cited an existing $200,000 letter of credit for a temporary signal, though the amended approach did not require installing that signal at this stage. Residents’ concerns focused on traffic volume, road safety, and access; no other procurement awards or bid approvals were identified.
