CPCSC School Board Meeting - October 26, 2026

The Crown Point Community School Corporation Board of School Trustees meeting on October 26, 2026, approved a request to apply for and accept a $100,000 Opportunity to Learn project planning grant from Indiana Lifelong Learning Project, Inc. The funds may support consultants, data analysis, training, travel to model sites, and stipends for work outside contracted hours as the district identifies nonacademic barriers to student learning and prepares a later competitive grant application. The board also approved the 2027 budget forms and Resolution No. 883, setting estimated maximum appropriations and tax rates for submission to the state; officials said there were no changes from the prior public hearing. Both actions passed unanimously, 5–0.
