The Tredyffrin/Easttown School Board’s regular meeting on October 26, 2026, included procurement-related facilities updates. The Facilities Committee recommended three Bear Hill Elementary construction change orders totaling approximately $69,039.70 for replacement of curbs and roadways that could not be reused. It also recommended proceeding with a gym solar project based on a quotation from Exact Solar; the estimated payback was about 18 years without additional rebates or 10 years if the project receives a 40% rebate. The board approved the consent agenda, which included these recommendations. Summer 2027 construction bid packages had been issued, but no bid awards were reported. The committee also discussed possible public access to Conestoga High School’s tennis courts; a prox-card system was estimated at $50,000–$85,000, and the committee made no recommendation.

The Finance Committee reported that 2025–26 general fund expenditures were projected to exceed revenues by about $6.6 million and agreed with a recommendation to transfer funds to the capital fund up to the amount allowed within the authorized general fund budget. The board also approved the 2027–28 instructional calendar. Community donations to schools included classroom materials and equipment, plus an enclosed trailer; the reported gift values included $5,030 for 48 classroom chairs, $1,500 for two jump ropes and a weather station, and $670, $300, and $1,000 for other donated items. No other contract awards were reported.
