The City of Boca Raton Community Redevelopment Agency meeting on October 26, 2026, approved two development applications by 4–0 votes. The Residences of Boca amendment reduces the project from 190 to 133 residential units, adds 5,977 square feet of restaurant space, and revises building area, height, parking, and site plans. The 101 East Palmetto project was approved with a technical deviation reducing its required parking by 27 spaces; it retains the existing building, adds a courtyard and restaurant seating, and includes transit-pass subsidies and an annual contribution to the city’s downtown transit program. No contracts were awarded or procurement actions identified.
The CRA postponed, by 3–1 votes, resolutions that would amend the redevelopment plan and transfer Meisner Park properties from the CRA to the city, referring them to the November 9–10 meetings for further review, including analysis of potential effects on borrowing capacity. Staff said the transfer would redirect approximately $3 million in annual ground-lease revenue from the CRA to the city’s general fund, while existing leases would remain in place. The workshop portion also included board interviews and discussion of beach parking and a parade route; no related purchasing decisions were made.
