Land Use Meeting 10/26/26

The Larimer County Board of County Commissioners held a land use hearing on October 26, 2026. The Board unanimously approved four consent items: the Inquest and Overton amended plat, the Saddle Ridge Acres Lot 1-B amended condominium map, and two Kiefer Marital Trust minor land divisions. One additional agenda item, file 25CONE3763, had already been advertised as tabled and required no further motion to table it.

After a public hearing, the Board unanimously approved the Hill and Hill 2 Conservation Development right-of-way vacation, file 26-LAND4571, subject to staff conditions. The action converts the internal roads’ designation from public to private while retaining them as roads owned and maintained by the HOA; staff reported no concerns from responding referral agencies and no public comments. The HOA noted it had spent $500,000 on road repaving in 2017, but no new spending, procurement, contract award, or vendor selection was considered at this meeting.
