Coos Bay Public Schools special school board data meeting, October 26, 2026: Eastside staff presented beginning-of-year student data and progress toward continuing goals for regular attendance and reading and math achievement. Board members and staff discussed DIBELS benchmark results, cohort performance and summer learning loss, attendance patterns, and a marked reduction in behavior referrals compared with the prior October; presenters also described positive office referrals and proactive student supports. Staff noted that math monitoring and intervention systems are less developed than reading supports, and that reduced Chromebook access limits use of SuccessMaker practice.
