Board of Education Meeting 10/26/2026

The School District of New Berlin Board of Education met on October 26, 2026. The board approved the original budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, and separately approved a 2026–27 property tax levy of $46,417,439, including $10,000 for capital expansion projects. Administrators attributed the lower-than-anticipated tax burden to higher state aid, enrollment, and conservative budgeting, while cautioning that the tax rate may not remain at this level.
