Plan Commission Meeting 2026-10-27

Greenwood, Indiana Plan Commission meeting (October 26, 2026; the meeting title lists October 27) addressed land-use and development matters. The Commission approved Appletree Staffing’s landscaping waiver 6–1, allowing 96 trees and shrubs to be relocated elsewhere on the site because of drainage-slope constraints, with the condition that the petitioner continue working with staff on planting locations. The waiver concerned a buffer previously reduced from 40 feet to 11 feet. PC 2026-052, the Woodrow Community Park area plat, was continued to November 23 at the petitioner’s request.

For a proposed building expansion at 1173 Airport Parkway, the Commission recommended vacation of a partial 15-foot drainage and utility easement; the motion passed 7–0. It also recommended vacation of a 20-foot drainage and utility easement for Greenwood Airpark Block 5, Lot 2, with the motion passing 7–0. Both easement matters were moving on to the Common Council for action by ordinance, and the Board of Public Works and Safety had recommended the vacations. No procurement, contract award, or spending decision was identified.
