Dexter Community Schools Board of Education meeting, October 19, 2026. The board reviewed the district’s audit, which received a clean opinion, and heard that fiscal-year 2026 capital-projects activity included approximately $65.2 million in bond issuance, with bond proceeds totaling about $69 million after premiums and investment earnings. The district also reported construction progress at several sites, including the Wylie addition, athletic facilities, and high school projects. A nonprofit donated two suicide-prevention benches for the district; the high school construction trades class is building them. No new construction contract award or bid approval was reported.
