The Raymore City Council’s regular meeting on October 26, 2026, approved the amended FY2027 budget and a FY2026 operating-budget amendment, both by 8–0 votes. The consent agenda, also approved 8–0, included acceptance and final pay for the 2026 street-preservation and North Madison reconstruction work, plus a resolution authorizing a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant application for the Hawk Ridge Park Plaza. Staff reported that bids for the plaza came in above available funding and were rejected; no new construction contract was awarded. The grant application requires council authorization and was being prepared for submission. Staff also reported the 58 Highway project was 99% complete, with the Dean Avenue access-management project and Kurzweil Road work continuing.

The council approved the first reading of an agreement with the Mid-America Regional Council Solid Waste Management District for the regional household hazardous-waste program, by an 8–0 vote. The per-capita rate is $1.14, unchanged from the prior year. The council also approved the Saddlebrook Second Final Plat, with an 8–0 amendment directing staff to correct three references in the development agreement from Kansas City/Clay County to Raymore/Cass County. No contract award or vendor selection was made at the meeting.
