The Revere Zoning Board of Appeals meeting on October 28, 2026, considered four private development and property applications; no public procurement, contracts, vendor selections, or spending decisions were identified. The board unanimously accepted without prejudice the withdrawals of Arano Investment LLC’s variance request for a two-family dwelling at 42 Genese Street and Nefta Realty Trust LLC’s request for variances for a proposed 16-story, 240-unit residential building at 6 Awam Street and 1198 North Shore Road.

The board continued Jesus Palisios’s request to pave three rear-yard parking spaces at 43 Tapley Street to November 18, asking for a revised plan by November 10 to address the staircase and vehicle access. It unanimously approved Steven Caruso’s variance request to subdivide undeveloped Ridge Road lots and build four single-family homes, subject to standard conditions. Residents raised concerns about drainage, slope stability, retaining walls, street parking, and construction and emergency-vehicle access; the project will also proceed through site plan review and other applicable approvals.
