The Town of Prescott Valley Town Council’s regular meeting on October 22, 2026, included several contract and funding approvals. The council approved a $144,483.26 agreement with Summit West Signs, plus $1,352 in owner contingency, to upgrade the entrance arch lighting and controls. It approved a $1,022,061 construction-phase services agreement with Jacobs Engineering Group for the Quailwood Well No. 3 PFAS treatment project; the project is supported by an EPA grant and a loan that is 90% forgivable. The council also approved design agreements for the Lakeshore Drive/Lake Valley Road signal ($155,550.32, using a City of Prescott cooperative contract) and the Glassford Hill Road left-turn-offset project ($284,821.76, plus $14,241 contingency). It approved an ABDO Financial Solutions change order increasing costs by $70,600 once and $9,880 per month for accounting support, and accepted a $108,500 Arizona State Parks and Trails OHV grant for police vehicles and related safety and response capabilities.

The council approved repealing Ordinance 2023-930, which set water requirements for certain non-subdivision residential developments. Members discussed potential litigation costs and said the town would pursue the issue through state legislation; the town attorney stated previously grandfathered projects would not be affected. The council also approved a parking-restrictions ordinance amendment and a zoning-map change for the Stonebridge cell tower site. Public comments raised concerns about license-plate-reader cameras, water supply and the repeal, and affordable housing; no related procurement action was taken on those comments.
