The City of Boulder Beverage Licensing Authority met on October 21, 2026. It approved a new hotel-and-restaurant liquor license for Viva Comida Concepts, LLC, doing business as The Works, after reviewing the applicant’s operating and alcohol-service procedures. For Harvest Wine and Spirits, staff reported that renewal documents had not been received and noted an outstanding sales-tax standing concern; the Authority took no action because the matter was only a status check. The police representative agreed to provide information about establishments that passed compliance checks at a future meeting.
The Authority accepted stipulations in several liquor-license enforcement cases. It imposed a three-day suspension with six additional days held in abeyance for Baseline Liquor, with the suspension beginning November 2; zero days served and eight days in abeyance for Flower Child; one day served and five days in abeyance for Gaia Masala and Burger, with a November 2 start; and one day served with six days in abeyance for Slice House, beginning October 26. A suspension for DeGabi Cucina was set to begin October 26, though its duration is unclear in the transcript. The stipulation for Tsingtao was accepted, but no penalty is clearly stated. The board supported a draft policy to streamline administrative processing of permanent premises modifications; no vote was taken. Staff also reported anticipated administrative processing of a Chiba Hut license transfer and Boulder Theater premises modifications. No procurement activity was identified.
