The Seymour City Hall Board of Works meeting on October 22, 2026, approved a $169,000 quote from Inliner to line approximately 500 feet of a 30-inch stormwater pipe from Lee Boulevard to West Fourth Street. The work is part of the city’s stormwater improvements, with funding reported as available. The board also approved a change order for additional pool-deck repairs to address a trip-and-fall hazard; the city said more than $2 million in state READY funding had been approved for the pool project, though no change-order amount was stated.

Staff reported that CCMG road work and paving were progressing, with paving targeted for completion by Thanksgiving. Hartzell Drive Phase 2 is expected to proceed with King’s Excavating under a contract bid the prior year; staff anticipated a change from about $1.6 million to about $1.7 million because of pricing increases and said final pricing remained to be settled. The board also approved two sewer-bill adjustments and several event or alley-closure requests. No other procurement awards were identified.
