The Oklahoma County Excise Board held special and emergency meetings on October 29, 2026. The board approved the minutes and Resolution 2026-4315 concerning Del City’s FY 2026–27 estimated needs and certified levies; the transcript’s stated sinking-fund amount is garbled. It also approved Resolution 2026-4335, authorizing a transfer of up to $1.5 million from the employee benefits supplement to the employee benefits fund for anticipated FY 2027 expenses, contingent on the check being deposited and Budget Board approval. The board voted to strike item four because of language in the item.
At a later emergency meeting, the board approved Resolution 2026-4360, the county’s FY 2026–27 estimate of needs and financial statements, including general-fund appropriations not to exceed $155,729,421 and a 10.35-mill general-fund levy. Members cited the need to provide the Treasurer enough time to print and mail more than 300,000 tax statements and preserve taxpayers’ payment and protest periods as the reason for acting urgently. A separate emergency agenda was adjourned without action because its meeting specification was improper. The transcript also records approval of a tax-related certification item, but its wording is incomplete. No vendor selection, contract award, or bid approval was identified.
