The Oklahoma County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) and Public Buildings Authority (PBA) held regular meetings on October 28, 2026. The BOCC approved claims and blanket purchase orders, except that the Earnest & Young item was deferred while the remaining blanket orders were approved. It also approved a new electronic-recording agreement with HotDocs, abstractor-related items including agreements involving the Abstractors Group, Heritage Abstract and Zillow, and a Chicago Title abstractor certificate. Other approved items included an agreement with Hera Public Schools for a running track and renewal of a letter related to the Behavioral Care Center. The county also approved moving forward with an application for “781” funding; staff noted proposed budget additions of a supervision officer and a navigator. The transcript did not clearly state the funding amount.

In the PBA meeting, the board approved an accounting correction transferring $26,371.24 from debt service back to the PBA reserve, a report of fees, payout 19 on the ICB project, and parking contracts. The BOCC also approved lowering the speed limit on Southeast 44th Street from Luther to Hera Road. Fostering Sweet Dreams described its work supplying beds and requested continued community bedding-drive support. A speaker also raised concerns about transparency and public trust related to an upcoming sales-tax vote. No other specific contract amounts were clearly identifiable in the transcript.
