Citrus County Government’s Building Division compliance hearing, held October 21, 2026, addressed code violations involving unpermitted construction and property conditions. Two cases had been abated before the hearing. In several other cases, respondents entered no-contest agreements and received time to correct violations: one renovation case received 90 days before a $700-per-day fine could accrue; Principal Partners Group LLC received six months before a $1,000-per-day fine; and a hurricane-damaged mobile home and deck case received 90 days before a $100-per-day fine. The magistrate also found violations involving a garage built in wetlands and within a setback, and an unpermitted shed; the shed case received 60 days to comply before a $50-per-day fine could accrue. The garage case was given 30 days to obtain a demolition permit and remove the structure.

The hearing focused on code enforcement, permitting, and compliance deadlines; no contracts, purchases, budget allocations, bids, or other procurement activity were identified. The minutes from September 16, 2026, were presented with no requested changes.
