The City of Henderson held a special City Council meeting on October 20, 2026. Council members unanimously ratified Eddie Dichter’s appointment as assistant city manager, approved the residency requirement associated with the position, and participated in his ceremonial oath of office. Dichter’s long service with the city and experience in planning and community development were recognized. The agenda was accepted as presented, also by unanimous vote.

Public comment periods were held at the beginning and end of the meeting, with no speakers in either queue. No contracts, purchasing decisions, budget allocations, or other procurement activity were identified.
