The Edison Township Zoning Board of Adjustment special meeting on October 20, 2026, approved the October 13 minutes and adopted two resolutions. On remand, the board unanimously denied American Outdoor Advertising LLC’s application for a billboard at 740 Old Post Road, citing deficiencies in the record concerning the proposed sign’s height and lighting impacts, among other issues. The board also carried Middlesex Water’s application for 200 Tingley Lane to November 10, and continued an amended site-plan application for a house of worship at 52–54 Vineyard Road to November 24. The latter hearing addressed demolition instead of reuse of the existing structure and possible building relocation to avoid encroachment concerns; no decision was made.

The board heard an application for a new house of worship at 779 New Durham Road seeking a use variance and other site-plan relief. Residents raised concerns about traffic, safety, flooding, lighting, and neighborhood impacts; the board requested further information, including county review and clarification of occupancy and parking. The matter was carried to December 15, 2026, with no vote on the application. No procurement activity, contract awards, or spending decisions were identified.
