The Town of Smyrna Beer Board met on September 14, 2026. Members approved the August 3 minutes and, following public hearings, approved off-premise beer permits for 101 Vape LLC and an on-premise permit for Zubie Investments MNA, doing business as Rock and Roll Sushi. Both applications passed by voice vote. The board discussed ID-check practices, staff training, management oversight, and a pending driving-related charge disclosed during the 101 Vape application hearing; members indicated they did not believe the application response reflected intentional concealment. No procurement activity was identified.

Staff reported that Gill’s Food Mart had self-reported an employee’s citation/arrest related to an alleged sale to a minor. The board agreed that the permit holder should appear to answer questions about employee training and the incident, and staff will schedule a public hearing for the October 5 meeting. The board then voted to adjourn.
