Larimer County Planning Commission meeting on October 21, 2026. The commission unanimously recommended rezoning 35 parcels containing 28 existing manufactured housing parks to the Manufactured Housing Park Preservation district (file 26-ZONE-3885), with a second motion also passing unanimously to certify the county and Front Range zoning maps as proposed. Staff said the district is intended to help preserve existing attainable housing and reduce displacement; the regional housing assessment found manufactured homes account for 10% of the housing stock in unincorporated Larimer County. Commissioners discussed a park owner’s request to be excluded, future rezoning flexibility, infrastructure costs, and the effect on properties currently for sale. A resident supported the measure, citing concern about losing homes and displacement.
The commission also approved the consent agenda, which included three special-review items and revisions to the floodplain overlay district; no procurement, contract awards, or spending decisions were identified. Staff noted that the November 18 meeting is planned as a work session on data-center code updates, and said the commission expects to consider bylaw updates early next year.
