The October 20, 2026 West Palm Beach Planning Board meeting addressed development applications and downtown zoning; no procurement activity, contract awards, bids, or purchasing decisions were identified. The board unanimously recommended approval of the Palm Beach Vaults major CPD amendment (Case 1937A), allowing a 113,071-square-foot, two-story storage and recreational facility with conditions and driveway waivers. It voted 6–1 to recommend denial of a waiver for a permitted dock at 2565 South Flagler Drive (Case 2037). The board also unanimously continued the Yacht Club-related rezoning (DAC Case 2601) to a future meeting, and unanimously recommended rezoning specified downtown parcels from TOD 8 to TOD 10 (Case 2603). Code revision Case 2605, concerning height and fill in historic areas, was continued to November 17.

For the Downtown Master Plan update (Case 2604), the board voted 5–2 to recommend approval with recommendations that staff reconsider height incentives along the Flagler Waterfront District, including a graduated height approach, and remove the proposed reduction in parking ratios. Discussion focused on traffic, parking, infrastructure capacity, neighborhood compatibility, waterfront development, and affordable housing. These were planning and land-use recommendations rather than funding or procurement actions.
