Board of Adjustment Meeting (10/20/2026)

The City of Jacksonville Beach Board of Adjustment met on October 20, 2026, to consider land-use variance requests. The board approved multiple requests involving residential setbacks, lot coverage, balcony expansion, and renovations to existing properties. Several approvals were amended to limit the variance to the specific structure proposed, so it would not automatically apply if that structure were replaced. One member recused from a case because of a professional relationship with the parties; the request was approved by the four remaining voting members.

The board also approved variances related to parking for existing commercial uses and a proposed warehouse expansion, including use of city right-of-way for parking in one case.
