The Baltimore County Planning Board held its regular meeting and the citizen input meeting for the FY 2028โ€“2033 Capital Improvement Program on October 15, 2026. The board received reports on proposed land-use legislation, including a bill requiring notice for certain warehouse exemption or waiver applications and a review of the countyโ€™s development-review exemptions. It recommended changing 4122 Sweet Air Road from growth tier 4 to tier 3 and endorsed the proposed Lutherville Station transit-oriented development designation. No contracts, bids, or vendor awards were considered; the capital-budget session gathered public input ahead of agency requests and board recommendations.

Residents and community representatives asked the county to consider capital funding for parkland acquisition near Lake Roland, neighborhood curbs, flood resilience and drainage, water access, road resurfacing, pedestrian and ADA safety, public lighting, senior-center parking, and bridge repairs. A Turner Station speaker cited $3.15 million in federal funding for phase-one flood-resilience planning and urged construction funding for an $11.7 million Solace Point drain overhaul. Other speakers requested funds to purchase properties near the Eastern Sanitary Landfill and proposed a dedicated public-safety and accessibility funding line. These were public requests, not approved allocations or procurement actions.
