The St. Croix County Community Justice and Collaboration Council met on July 30, 2026 (the meeting metadata records July 31 UTC). The main procurement-related item was a 2027 TAD grant application, submitted to the Department of Justice at the end of June. The County requested $259,365, less than in prior years following the planned completion of treatment court. The request includes funding for two diversion-program positions and benefits, an in-state conference, operating expenses and supplies, and about $55,000 for consultants and contractual services. Proposed uses include substance-use assessments through St. Croix County Behavioral Therapy Group, Living in Balance through Hazelden, and case-management software. The application had not yet been approved; a decision was expected in late August or early September.
The council also discussed a pretrial data-dashboard pilot developed with Rulo Strategies using support from a federal grant; the 60-case dataset was manually entered, and members noted that future data sharing could require automated systems, but no purchase or funding action was taken. Members discussed strategic planning and updating the council’s bylaws, while the treatment-court subcommittee was to be discontinued because it could not achieve a quorum. No contract awards, procurement votes, or spending motions were reported. Other updates covered the family treatment court, hiring a court navigator, and the community reentry program Fill the Cracks.
