The North Hudson Village Board meeting was held October 6, 2026. Procurement and spending items included a Personnel and Finance Committee recommendation to approve $121,688.17 in October non-recurring claims, including approximately $84,000 for the second installment of the Village’s fire contract with the City of Hudson. The committee also recommended using up to $24,000 from the Public Works vehicle assigned fund to purchase a compact tractor for park and public-works maintenance instead of a pickup truck. No tractor vendor was identified. The Board approved a two-year Wisconsin Professional Police Association (WPPA) labor agreement for 2027–2028, with an approximate 5% wage increase in 2027 and 3.5% in 2028, and authorized the Village President and Administrator/Clerk to execute it.

The Village reported that requests for proposals had been sent for work at two parking lots, with proposals due October 9 and a special meeting planned to open them and make a decision; no award was made at this meeting. The Park Board forwarded 2027 budget priorities including a permanent restroom and shade trees at Summer’s Landing, with a temporary restroom as an alternative, and a concept plan for Fairy Landing to support future funding efforts. The Board also approved amendments to the Village’s water and sewer ordinances reflecting the transfer of those utility services to the City of Hudson under an existing agreement, and rescheduled its November meeting from November 3 to October 27 because of the general election.
