The North Hudson Public Works meeting of September 15, 2026, approved the August 18 minutes. The Monroe Street North reconstruction update reported that the project is awaiting Section 106 approval and subsequent Wisconsin DOT approval of its design report; approval was expected to take roughly 30–60 days. Later steps will include acquiring temporary and construction easements. The project is an STP project with an anticipated state submittal date in August 2027 and construction not expected before 2028. The city will fund sewer and water work separately, outside the STP funding. No contract award or procurement vote occurred.

Members discussed a Village Hall parking-lot layout for 22 vehicles, including whether to install lighting now or include conduit for possible future lighting; the design was still a working draft and no decision was made. The director said a budget request would seek funds for curb repairs, including a curb by the school that could potentially be coordinated with Monroe Street work. Sidewalk repairs were discussed at roughly $200,000 over the recent work period, including $99,000 this year, with further budget discussion expected at a finance meeting. The dumpster-permit ordinance remains under revision, with discussion only; no spending action was taken.
