The Gilbert Town Council’s regular meeting on October 20, 2026, approved the consent calendar items 5, 6, and 8–37 by a 7–0 vote; item 7 was continued. Procurement and infrastructure actions included a five-year, $10 million contract with Calgon Carbon Corporation for activated carbon services at the North Water Treatment Plant; a pump and well maintenance contract amendment with Phoenix Pumps adding $300,000 annually, for a revised annual not-to-exceed amount of $600,000; and a $1,482,669 street-maintenance task order with Talos Corporation. Other approved purchases included $1.25 million over five years for streetlight supplies from Arizona Electric Supply, up to $1.795 million for server infrastructure replacement through Milestone Computer Services, and a six-year parking-lot sweeping contract with C&S Sweeping capped at $591,000. The council also accepted grants of $223,963 for internship and victim-advocacy programs, up to $178,570 for highway-safety activities, and up to $41,040 for fire and public-safety initiatives. The consent calendar also included water-efficiency, facility-painting, firefighter-equipment, police-training, and wastewater/stormwater work.
