The Stillwater Planning Commission meeting on October 20, 2026, included two public-hearing items on land-use changes. The Commission voted 4–0 to recommend that the City Council approve Map Amendment MA 26-08, rezoning 702 South Ramsey Street from small-lot single-family residential (RSS) to two-family residential (RT). Staff said the request aligns with the comprehensive plan’s moderate-density residential designation; the applicant had initially sought RTM zoning but changed the request because the lot did not meet that district’s size requirements.
The Commission also voted 4–0 to recommend rezoning 810 South Jardot Road from mobile/manufactured-home residential to Commercial General and approving a specific use permit for an RV park. The approval includes a six-month transition period for the current mobile-home occupants after the rezoning takes effect. The applicant said residents would have the option to stay or relocate to another property. Elections of the Commission chair and vice chair were tabled until the next meeting. No procurement, contract award, or spending decision was identified.
