The City of Green Bay Traffic, Bicycle & Pedestrian Commission met on October 19, 2026. The commission held consideration of traffic-calming measures on Kurtz Avenue until its next meeting, following remote-participation problems and pending resident-petition steps. It approved installing an all-way stop at the Greenbrier/Manitowoc Road intersection, with stop-ahead signs and orange flags for an initial six months, after reviewing speed and crash data, including a recent pedestrian crash. The commission also approved revised school-day parking and student-loading signs near Lincoln Elementary School and approved adding approximately six metered parking spaces on Cherry Street near the 200 block of North Adams Street. No contract awards, vendor selections, or procurement spending approvals were identified; a report noted that federal traffic-grant funding was still being resolved.
