Planning Commission Meeting, October 20th, 2026

The City of Vista Planning Commission met on October 20, 2026. The Commission unanimously approved a site development plan (P24-348) for a 0.61-acre open storage yard for scaffolding materials at 2232 La Mirada Drive. The plan includes retaining walls, an eight-foot screening wall and gate, landscaping, and a new driveway; the operator said materials would generally be stored 8–10 feet high and would not exceed 15 feet. The project was found consistent with the applicable land-use designations and exempt from CEQA. No procurement, contract award, or spending action was identified.
