The Commission approved several procurement- and spending-related items, including the sale of two decommissioned vehicles; a memorandum of understanding with the City of Montgomery for traffic-accident investigation services; amendments to AUM and Kristar subrecipient agreements for SKIP grants; a Premise Healthcare budget acknowledgement and client-services agreement addendum; and renewal of property, casualty, and workers’ compensation insurance. It also approved an amendment extending the Gulf State Distributors contract through December 16, 2027, a 2026 employee recognition and appreciation budget, and a budget change request for the Buckmasters Expo. No contract amounts were stated. A public hearing was held on the FY2026 Department of Justice Justice Assistance Grant application, and the Commission approved an annual interlocal agreement with the City of Montgomery concerning the 2026 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant. It also approved a third amendment to a contract with Diversified Companies LLC, identified in the transcript as doing business as “Difficult Data,” for printing and mailing probate notices.

The Commission approved miscellaneous agency appropriations, including $2,500 for the Cleveland Avenue YMCA, $2,500 for 100 Black Men, and additional funding discussed for ACT CDC; the transcript also references a $15,000 correction and further $5,000 additions, but the final allocation details are unclear. Education appropriations and travel-training requests for the appraisal commission, Sheriff’s Office, and Revenue Commissioner were also approved. A speaker urged the Commission to provide more consistent funding for a local parade, but no action was taken on that request. Other actions included reappointing two members to the Joint Public Charity Hospital Board and extending Regina Walker’s appointment as acting county administrator.
