The City of Horn Lake Board of Aldermen meeting was held October 20, 2026. The Board unanimously approved three final plats: the Horn Lake Water Association subdivision (39 residential lots and one commercial lot, with conditions covering sidewalks, open space, utilities, and required lighting); Market 55 Phase 1B (one lot); and the Ron Patel Studio 6 Plus commercial subdivision (one lot, subject to conditions on acreage documentation, access rights, and sidewalks). These approvals establish lots; future building and site development will require separate review. The Board also unanimously approved the consent agenda except items D and N, which were referred to executive session.

The claims docket totaled $1,444,218.91—General Fund $588,982.72, Library Fund $4,373.10, Economic Development Fund $4,934.33, and Utility Fund $842,928.26—and passed 5–2. An alderman asked the city administrator to look into installing lights along Interstate Boulevard and Railroad Extended; no funding or purchase was approved. The mayor also cited approximately $11 million in water-improvement projects completed the prior year. Other actions included a Red Ribbon Week proclamation and, following executive session, approval by 5–2 of two employee suspension requests. No vendor contract awards or solicitations were identified.
