Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees - 10/20/2026

The Palmdale School District Board of Trustees held its regular meeting on October 20, 2026. The board heard student achievement and accountability reports from Golden Poppy and Palm Tree Elementary Schools, recognized employees for long service and teachers completing clear credentials, and proclaimed October 19–23 National School Bus Safety Week. In closed session, the board unanimously accepted a stipulated expulsion placement. The board also approved the consent agenda, 5–0.

Procurement-related action was limited to approvals of no-cost agreements: an MOU with Bright Life Kids for virtual behavioral health intervention services through June 30, 2027; an MOU with Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service for social work internships through August 31, 2028; an agreement with Tobii Dynavox LLC for one-day in-person training for language and speech specialists; and an MOU with Assurance Learning Academy School District for a clear administrative credential program. Each passed 5–0. No contract amounts, paid awards, or other purchasing or budget allocations were identified.
