Zoning Board of Adjustments 10/19/2026

The City of El Paso Zoning Board of Adjustments met on October 19, 2026, and considered two property-specific zoning exceptions. For 1056 Francine, the board approved a request to legalize an existing carport encroaching into required side- and rear-yard setbacks, subject to staff conditions that it remain open on three sides and that a five-foot portion be detached. For 3716 Hamilton Avenue, the board approved a request to legalize an existing garage encroachment into the side-yard setback, with an additional canopy required to be removed. A nearby resident spoke about the second request; staff reported no other comments in support or opposition. The board also approved the meeting minutes and adjourned.

No contracts, bids, vendor selections, budget allocations, or other procurement activity were identified. The board noted that November meetings would include election of the chair and vice chair and adoption of the following year’s meeting schedule.
